Be a responsible tourist
Making responsible choices about your holiday can help protect communities and the environment around the world.
L’association Enfants pour la cooperation et la solidarité is supported by “Petit Prince sur les sables” which is a Moroccan agency of transport touristic, managed by local guides, of touareg origin, who know customs and traditions of the Sahara desert, and will discreetly slip you into their wonderful culture, welcoming visitors who will love the desert, just as they do themselves.
ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY
The journey in the wilderness is in itself an experience of safeguarding resources and reduction of waste ]The experience of spending the night in the desert takes place according to the traditions of its inhabitants, the nomads, which over time have handed down from father to son their customs with a strong sense of respect for the Sahara desert.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Being an agency run by locals, the large community of M’hamid, small desert village, known as the desert gate, receives a large benefit. Especially the families of M’hamid linked by kinship ties build together a network of collaboration and mutual support, which will mean for the tourist a warm sense of hospitality. Often tourists are invited to the home of the guides, where families welcome the guests with all the sense of sacredness due to someone who comes from far away, according to the ancient nomadic traditions.
ECONOMIC RESPONSIBILITY
It often happens that tourists finance useful works to the Community (wells, notebooks for schools, medicines) in a context of great poverty and basic needs.
